Please do not use hate speech, racial slurs, profanity, pejoratives,

The reason is (ostensibly) racism.

“[T]he board voted to change the names of both the School of Public and International Affairs and Wilson College,” stated Christopher L. Eisgruber, the college’s president.

Take aways…

• Leftists overlook Wilson’s contributions to focus almost exclusively on his decision to re-segregate the federal civil service.

• Oddly, leftists willingly overlook the criminal histories of those upon whom they bestow the status of saint and martyr. These include Rodney King, Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, and, George Floyd. They also overlook the salacious and promiscuous personal life of Martin Luther King, Jr.

• By disrespecting President Wilson, the school’s board is disrespecting “president” Galt-Wilson, the nation’s first and only woman chief executive. During Wilson’s protracted illness, his wife, Edith Bolling Galt, effectively ran the country. Galt was, in a sense, the de facto president. Albeit vicariously, she was the first and only woman to serve as the nation’s chief executive. See for more information.

• The name changes are two among many within the context of a national purge under the pretext of anti-racism. In reality, it appears the far-left is using anti-racism as a false premise for vilifying and then erasing our cultural heritage.

The first two steps of thought reform are “erase and replace.” The third and final step is “freeze in place.”

Step 1. Erase identity (personal, familial, cultural, national, etc.)
Step 2. Replace the old identity with a new identity.
Step 3. Freeze in place the new identity.

Excerpt from ▼ Princeton University is removing Woodrow Wilson’s name from its public policy school and one of its residential colleges after trustees concluded that the 28th U.S. president’s “racist thinking and policies” made him “an inappropriate namesake.” … “Wilson’s racism was significant and consequential, even by the standards of his own time,” Princeton President Christopher L. Eisgruber said in the statement. Civil Service “He segregated the federal civil service after it had been racially integrated for decades, thereby taking America backward in its pursuit of justice,” he added. “He not only acquiesced in but added to the persistent practice that continues to do harm today.
