A few time ago it was posted by the channel SUBBALAKSHMI SASTRY, another good video “Devil Fish In Government Aquarium Bengaluru”.
As pubished in the youtube video by SUBBALAKSHMI SASTRY: “Aquarists who keep cichlids regard red devils as aggressive fish.It is interactive with the goings on outside its tank and will come to recognise its owner This aggressive behavior combined with their razor sharp teeth and powerful jaws means cohabitants should be chosen carefully and the fish should be kept in a large aquarium. Red devils may be so aggressive that they ram into the glass to get at invaders, break heaters and other aquarium equipment, and will sometimes bite their owners.Red Devil fish is a large and aggressive Cichlid. Amphilophus labiatus is a large cichlid fish endemic to Lake Managua and Lake Nicaragua in Central America. Red devils are more elongated, more streamlined fish. When viewed from above the mouth of a Red devil will be V shaped .”
