As informed in the description by American Aquarium: “A reserve osmosis machine with a distilled chamber is a very common piece of equipment in the aquarium hobby, the question is, do I really need an aquarium RODI?
This applies for using RO water in freshwater aquarium and RODI systems for reef tank. Also, RODI may need to be used from some aquarium plants.
Do you need ro di water for saltwater tank? An ro unit for aquarium? Do you need an rodi system for reef tank?
And what is the difference better ro vs distilled water aquarium.
It’s very important that when using this water, it’s replenished with electrolytes! and there’s a catch!
Do you really need the DI chamber? Not really… this strips the water of all Cation electrolytes… and this is a common practice only of the last decade or so when economy unit hit the market to make them more efficient, but really what’s needed is a just a quality RO machine.
