Today, a few time ago a new video titled Dominic West said ‘it’s daft to kick someone out over a fling’ in past interview was uploaded in the channel: Daily Mail 24h
As published in the youtube description by Daily Mail 24h: Dominic West previously said it was ‘daft’ to kick a partner out ‘over a fling’. The 50-year-old’s love life is under the microscope after he was pictured kissing and cuddling Lily James, 31, on a trip to Rome – despite being married to wife Catherine FitzGerald since 2010. Now, the actor’s comments on infidelity and monogamy have been unearthed, and West previously claimed that women should ‘turn a blind eye to men’s behaviour’ in their forties. In a 2016 interview with the Evening Standard, The Affair star said: ‘I mean, I think women should be more indulgent of affairs. ‘I really do. It’s daft to kick someone out over a fling. Isn’t it? ‘Everyone should turn a blind eye to men’s behaviour between the ages of 40 and 50. Let it all blow over.’ Journalist Charlotte Edwardes noted: ‘Whether he believes this or not I’m not sure’ and said that the actor ‘certainly likes to provoke’. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar last year, West questioned how natural monogamy was when asked about infidelity. He said: ‘It’s one of those subjects that people have very strong opinions about because everybody is open to it and can experience it. It affects kings as much as it does snails. A lot of people have experienced it and a lot of people fear it. ‘I suppose people suspect that the conventions that we have agreed upon in society, that a man and women can stay together for life or a certain amount of time without cheating, that they’re not really staying together based on anything other than how society thinks they should behave. It’s not the necessarily natural way to be, therefore there will always be adultery and intrigue about it West’s multiple comments about extramarital affairs stem from his role as Noah Holloway in The Affair. The critically acclaimed drama follows Holloway and Alison Bailey (Ruth Wilson), who embark on an affair behind the backs of their respective spouses, played by Maura Tierney and Joshua Jackson. On Monday, pictures emerged of West getting close to Downton Abbey star James on a trip to Rome. The pair, who star together in the upcoming BBC adaptation of The Pursuit Of Love, were seen riding a scooter around the city together, with West nuzzling the actress’s neck during dinner. West flew back to the UK on Monday night, amid reports that his wife Catherine was ‘devastated’ by the photos. However, this morning, the couple put on a united front outside their home in Wiltshire, and kissed for the cameras. The pair, who share four children, also offered a note reading: ‘Our marriage is strong and we are very much still together. Thank you.’ While West and FitzGerald were all smiles for the photo op, body language expert Judi James speculated that the couple were ‘embarrassed to have had to resort’ to the stunt.
