It was just posted by Adosia Official, another amazing video “WiFi Reservoir to Water Plants Automatically – Automatic Plant Feeder Monitors Cultivation Remotely”.
As informed in the description by Adosia Official: “In this video we connect an Adosia base WiFi controller to an automatic feeder reservoir subassembly we built up using an Adosia kit. We connect the reservoir to a drip setup to automatically water x6 plants using a single submersible pump in the reservoir (we could add another small pump to double the number of plants we will be able to support with dual pumps in a single reservoir setup).
We also use a soil moisture sensor to measure the soil moisture so we can to trigger watering and know whether or now we are able to achieve a targeting moisture level following watering.
Additionally we will use two water level sensor switches in our setup. One water level sensor switch (vertical) will sit on top of the submersible water pump positioned perfectly so when it triggers we know the water level in the reservoir is critically low, and at point where the pump should be disabled so as to avoid damaging it by running it dry (submersible pumps need to be submersed in water to operated without being damaged). The other water level sensor switch (horizontal) will be positioned at about the half way point in our reservoir and will be used to warn us when the reservoir water level is getting low.
